About Us

SAINT MARY SCHOOL, located in beautiful Ridgefield, Connecticut, is a warm and welcoming Catholic school in the Diocese of Bridgeport serving Ridgefield and neighboring towns including Wilton, Danbury, Redding, Stamford, Brewster, Katonah, North Salem and more. Saint Mary School is a place where children thrive because they are known and loved.  Over 250 Preschool through Grade 8 students call Saint Mary School their home away from home.

KNOWN

Yes, we know every child by name, but we know so much more! We know what our students like to do on the weekends, what their favorite books are, and what captures their imaginations. By seeking connections with our students, we build relationships that last a lifetime.

LOVED

Each of our 260 students possesses talents and gifts, and we value each and every one of them. We value them for not only what they are destined to become, but for the unique wonders that they are today.

PREPARED

Whether we are preparing our littlest learners for kindergarten or our older students for high school, Saint Mary School students are equipped to enter the next stage of their educational journey with confidence and the foundation to thrive.

Saint Mary school has provided the academic support my daughter has needed. They have gone above and beyond accommodating her needs as a learner. Their Orton-Gillingham trained reading specialist has given her the tools she needs to be successful as a reader. Saint Mary’s preschool is a warm, loving and faith based program. It has given my son the foundational skills he will need for kindergarten. The teachers go above and beyond everyday.Saint Mary’s is a community of dedicated, loving and faithful faculty, students and parents.

Emily Campbell

Preschool Parent

We found Saint Mary School through a referral from a neighbor. When I think about the decisions we have made for our daughter, choosing Saint Mary's tops the list. The preschool is educational, rooted in play and also fundamentally developed around giving back to the community. Not only is our daughter ... prepared for Kindergarten but she has learned the importance of caring about others outside of herself. We do not have one bad thing to say about Saint Mary School!

Saint Mary School is a wonderful school were you feel like a family. The education, not only in the academic but the spiritual area, is a very complete and competitive one. My daughter loves her school, her class, her classmates. This is the best experience we can give our daughter, an excellent education in a loving environment.
