Student Support and Services

Learning Specialist

• Dedicated Learning Specialist who works with middle school students to support their academic learning and executive functioning skills

• Integrated into the ELA classroom to support students with ELA curriculum including reading and writing

• Responsible for monitoring that modifications and accommodations are followed for students with accommodation plans

Reading and Math Support Teachers and Reading Interventionist

• Tiered support for our elementary students needing support in reading including work with phonemic awareness, fluency and comprehension

• In class and pull-out support collaboratively planned with classroom teachers

School Counselor

• Provides whole class lessons on a variety of topics including organization, peer pressure, stress, and making good decisions

• Provides 1-1 counseling sessions 

• Works with the middle school team to provide student support
