Special Events

On the first day of school, we gather for a blessing of the backpacks and the school year ahead.

During the Marian months of October and May, our students take part in a Living Rosary, with individual students representing Rosary beads. 

Grade 2 students re-tell the Nativity Story in an engaging way, and other grades support the story in song.

During Lent, our Grade 7 students participate in the Living Stations of the Cross which is attended by the entire school. 

At Christmastime the entire school participates in a Benediction.  In addition, our Grade 8 graduates and their families attend a Benediction and dinner just before Graduation.

In addition to our special events, our older students have the opportunity to participate in grade level retreats during the school year.  These retreats give students the chance to grow in their faith and to open themselves to Christ in personal and meaningful ways.
