Parent Community
Saint Mary School faculty and staff, students and parents work together closely and openly to create remarkable outcomes.
Each year, parents volunteer their time and donate their resources to enhance the experience of our students and teachers. Through volunteerism, friendships are forged, great work is done, and all aspects of our school community are enhanced. Through this engagement, our parents develop deep ties to our community and fuel student talent and passion.
The Home School Association (HSA) is our parent body charged with enriching our children’s school experience through the many family and other events scheduled throughout the year. Through its efforts, the HSA aims to promote a cohesive school community, provide support and appreciation for teachers and staff, and sponsors and supports activities that generate funds to enrich the school. The HSA also provides information and education for our parent body, serves as a channel of communication between parents, teachers, and administration, fosters parental involvement in school functions, programs, and projects, and heightens awareness of the school in our community.
Every parent at Saint Mary School is a member of the HSA. We all have different gifts according to the graces given us, and we encourage you to use these gifts as you become involved in the many volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. The success of the HSA depends on the active participation of its members. We welcome you to the SMS community and thank you for sharing your time and talents with us!
