Getting to Know Tessa Fellone – New SMS School Nurse

Dear Saint Mary School Family,

My name is Tessa Fellone, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the school nurse for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. I am honored, and excited to be joining such a wonderful community of families, students and educators at Saint Mary’s School.

Prior to our move into Ridgefield in 2022, my husband, two daughters and I lived in New York City. After graduating from Brooklyn College, I studied nursing and received my degree from Wagner College. Much of my professional career was spent at the International Multiple Sclerosis Management Practice, where I was an Assistant Nurse Manager for 8 years. Since moving to Ridgefield, I have worked in town at Doctors Pediatric and as a substitute nurse for the Ridgefield School District.

As a nursing professional, I am committed to promoting the health and well-being of students in the educational setting. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment at SMS where students can thrive both academically and physically. I am passionate about supporting the health needs of students through communication and collaboration with educators and families to ensure the overall well-being of the school community.
